This seems like a good idea for TMF also?
http://www.minifinit...php?f=7&t=90305

If you find a Mini in a scrapyard, post the details and if possible a photo in this thread.
Then others could go along or phone the yard and might find some useful spares perhaps?

this would indeed be a good idea, do you know what age the car is? does it have a logbook with it?

You know, I could see a thread like this as a stickied thread would be very helpful (Not to mention annoying to those of us in mini poor countries lol!) Probably some basic format a picture with year price location and if they have papers would be good. For people that like serious projects would be a nice quick way to scan scrap yards :)

Excellent idea if it helps keep cars on the road. In most cases these will end up crushed and on there way to China.

Mini theft has gone up rapidly in the last few months and posting the exact location of rare cars is a frankly awful idea.

Lets keep this thread to Mini's that are FOR SALE. Whether they've been touched in years or not, those Minis might well be somebodys pride and joy.

Thought I'd drag this back up with a couple of links,

THIS ONE shows a couple of mini's in the back ground
HERE's another with at least 2 others in the back ground too

:-)
