Hi all

Recently found a bit of surface rust on the underside of my mini and would like to re seal the bottom of the car totally.

Whats the best way of removing the exisiting waxoil? Been using a scraper but its v.slow nd tedious.

Any suggestions

Cheers

Is it the hard type of Waxoyl or the soft?? If its the hard then soften it with a hot air gun, scrape and then wipe over with white spirit.

If its the soft then scrape and white spirit to remove any residue.

I used an angle grinder with a wire knot attachment. It worked very well but it is rather messy. Then gave it a wipe down with some white spirit.
