Hi,
One of my wires burnt out and burnt through a few of my other wires. My problem is that one of the wires to my starter motor has now disappeared and I can't seem to trace it! I have replaced all the other wires.

It's the wire that sits at the back nearest the engine on the starter motor. What does it do and where can a trace it?
If anyone has any wiring diagrams or info that would help! Thanks

Sounds like the wire from the starter relay.

It should be brown/red and comes from a relay up near the bulkhead
The relay will probably have

brown wire
brown/red
black
white/red

There is another terminal and if I've mixed the 2 up it will be the ballast byepass, and is white/yellow and goes to the positive on the coil.

Does the car turn over, if it does it won't be the brown/red

The white/yellow isn't needed with megajolt.

Right i have now been and got a picture, its the spade connector that has nothing going to it, i just need to know what its for so i can put the wire back in! Its a pre-engaged starter motor running megajolt so no coil or dizzy.

Thanks

ballast byepass, not needed in your setup.

Would normally have a white/yellow wire on it. But you megajolt doesn't need it

Doesn't explain the no power though because that terminal is only live when the starter engages
