I'd give it a whack with the classic bat.

If I wanted a modern car, I would've bought a modern car.

Classic look but goes like a modern look car

I'd vote for that but then I like to be awkward

I've voted classic now as I don't want modern look to win, modern cars suck, I hate the look of modern cars, always have and always will, go classic!

I don't think its so much the look of the car, its moreso keeping it original or having modcons if i understand the poll right.
After all to get a mini to look 'modern' you'd have to put one seriously ugly and large bodykit on it, and line the interior with far too much plastic!

the one thing i love about my mini is that it has got everything you need. lights, a crappy heater, windscreen wipers, doors and wheels. who needs air con, heated seats, electric windows or anything like that?

Nobody needs it, but it's nice when you do have things like that. Have you ever sat on heated seats? They're so good :P
But that's one thing i won't be fitting, ill stick to my bucket seats :D

I don't think there's anything original left on my mini every thing has been upgraded but it's all performance orientated (not hugely but enough to suprise people ) but my van is original.

Its all personal choice. If you want original go original if you want modern go modern or a mix of both. It's your mini do what you like to it.

Classic for me, but i suppose i am biased because i, like alot of other folk can remember the mini as a kid and i even drove a company mini van while i was an apprentice.
My wife has a new (bini)cooper which is ok but not a patch on the true job and i can,t maintain it like mine. But hey ho i don,t mind afew mods as long as we all can ensure these icons stay on the road for posterity.

Mines a mix of both. 13x7s are classic look, and being fully polished they aren't in a classic finish either  Still got the seams, engine and style of interior of classic but have smoothed off the engine bay, boot lid and bonnet so more modern there. At the end of the day its individual taste :)

I got a mini because I love how customisable they are, so for me it's a classic mini with your own modern twists. My mini will look classic from the outside (bar arches) and subtly modded inside (stereo, non-original seats, modern dash etc).
