I live in SW Ohio. I visited the UK about 3 years ago and saw more Mini's in one day than I had seen in 20 years in the US.

As fortune would have it, Mini's are pretty much illegal here after 1967. I'm sure you all know the story. Not being one to take no for an answer I managed to obtain one. I'm afraid it's not pure Mini anymore. It's one fully outfitted with a Honda JDM VTEC, new suspension all the way around, disk brakes....There's really not too much Mini left. With about 200 hp it is just a rocket and with the exception of the 215/50-13 tires, exhaust tip and the sound, it looks relatively stock. It is absolutely hilarious when people get a good look at it and me. I'm 6'6", 250 lbs. I tell them I left it in the car wash dryer a bit too long. The car has been gone from the US market for so long that there are very few people who know what it is.

So I'm going to ask forgiveness ahead of time for the endless dumb questions and the ones that have been asked too many times before. I'm about to do that regarding 11" windshield wipers. I'll search first but I'm really totally unfamiliar with the best vendors.

My first problem is windshield wipers. The ones I have are 10"...not available here. I understand that there are 11" wipers available with the more obtainable "hook" attachment.

Almost all British cars vanished from the US market, except for the really high end stuff, Jaguar and the like. Emission controls, the numerous inane safety regulations made it just impossible to make it profitable to import.

Thanks! I've not heard of Mini 7 before. Looks like I have a new book mark. The more support in the states, the better. I think Mini Spares has exactly what I need and the price isn't crazy. The shipping might be....

Might be able to pick a set of 12's at walmart or autozone and cut them down with tinsnips.

I'm in Texas and most auto parts stores like PepBoys, AutoZone, O'Reily stock 11" wiper blades. You can also order them from GBCarParts.com. They're in Nevada I think and are usually cheaper than 7Ent or Mini Mania.
