Would be good to know what set-ups people use and what to avoid.

Being into kitcars, I remember a guy who put 4wd in an impossibly small kitcar. He used Fiat Panda 4x4 transmission coupled to an Uno / Punto GT turbo engine. It gave about 180bhp too, with savage torque and I remember beating my old bike-engined (fireblade) powered car over a 1/8 mile dragstrip. He told me the engine bolted straight on to the gearbox, but I cant verify that for sure. I rekon that might be compact enough to fit into a mini, if you could find one?

Has anyone used a Subaru Impreza engine/ drivetrain?
Someone started it but never finished, the thing is you take two perfectly good cars and make one barely usable one. It need shortening and narrowing so probably would never be square or handle right.
Someone is building an Evo mini which looks good but thats using spaceframe mini http://www.16vminicl...ead.php?t=27088
