What's different about a 1275 metro hle engine? I think they have a 3.1 diff but what about the compression ratio, any different?

Gearbox has a specific gear set with different ratios, identifiable with a double notch on the gear teeth, instead of the single notch found on all standard A+ gear sets

Yes its the wide ratio gear set thats in the HLE gearbox, Also the input gear is the economy one. 3.1 FD..cruises at much lower revs but is not so quick on acceleration.. I have just removed it from my car and gone back to the standard ratios and 3.44 FD...I was bored..

Also runs an overdrive set of drop gears...

But, from an engine perspective, there's very little difference between that and any other metro engine.
