Hi everyone, my name's Rob i'm based around the Birmingham area and I own a 1991 Rover Mini Cooper with a 1275 Carburettor engine. She's Flame Red with white detailing. Its been in my family since new, and was the car I learnt to drive in and passed my test in! Sadly though for the last few years i've worked my way through a few cars and the old girl has lay SORN in my garage. However, with 2012 approaching I have decided to fix it up and get it back on the road to enjoy.

I'm hoping to meet some like minded Mini fans on here, and also to use the forums as a bit of a knowledge base!

Looking forward to getting involved on the forums, and best wishes to everyone for the new year!

Cheers,

Rob

Thank you :) Have all receipts, tax discs, MOT's the lot - like a bible of paperwork with her! I'll get some pics up when she's had a decent wash. Currently half way through dismantling door card to work out why the drivers side window isn't lowering or raising properly...

Ah excellent :). I thought the Carbs might be becoming an endangered species these days! What colour is yours? Have you done a lot of work to the car over the years?

Thank you :). Another lovely Cooper, my word you guys are putting me to shame! One day I'm sure I can get mine like this. I spy some Jersey number plates there, lovely part of the world. Was over in Guernsey just a few months back. Will now go off and read your build thread!
