Hmm.. Its a tough one. I think it'll be striking but maybe not in a good way, think it'll be more interesting han a standard colour though? Anyone had any experience?

Do you mean a silver roof?? Or do you actually have a way of chroming it or at least making it a mirrored "chrome like" surface?

Silver roofs are fairly common and look quite cool, chrome (or similar) would be absolutely blinding!! (quite literally on a sunny day :P )... also a nightmare to keep clean & shiny though I'd imagine. :(

I meant chrome but might consider silver, what with the spots on the front too I don't want to blind and annoy everyone! Still like the idea but might leave it at that!

How are you planning on actually chroming a roof though? Whilst I'm sure you could probably get a roof panel chromed, I don't see how you would attach it to the car without destroying the finish. I suppose the easiest way would be if you could get a fibreglass roof skin made with a mirrored laminate on top and then bond it to your existing roof??... doesn't sound particularly cheap or straight forward though!!

As has been said above, you'd be driving down the road and then the sun would come out and everyone coming the other way and behind you would crash into the nearest ditch because you'd have blinded them!
