And all 4 engines Grind from 3rd to second when I was giving it some.
I usually Just double clutch it, it sounds racey too.

For those who dont know how to double the clutch, Then its simple enough.
Clutch down,
Into Neutral
Clutch up,
Give it a rev
Clutch down
Into 2nd
Clutch up
away you go
Sounds complicated, Ive got it down to a Tee now, Been driving like that for a bout 6 months. I can now also heel / toe it too, So whilst im engine brakeing, I can also Hold the brake pedal with my heel, and give the throttle some revs to allow me to double Clutch it to down change to 2nd.
people must think Ive got like 3 legs when they see my brake lights on AND hear my throttle go Vrooom!

But yea, I wouldnt worry too much about the grinding to be honnest. Learn how to double clutch and you will have NO problems what so ever.

Don't even need to heel and toe in a mini you can put your foot on the brake and accelerator at the same time anyway

Best thing to do is get another gearbox, off ebay or such like, and then get it rebuilt, if you can't have you car off the road for any period of time.

Just incase thats what your saying. I Can Do it, Ive tried, and if you can get a good speed Lineup, then clutchless changes are ok, But I dont really feel comfortable doing them.
Double clutching is Different. Call me "mr State the obvious" but It sounds like some of you think Im clutchless changing.
