Planned to break it as it has lots of good bits and I wanted the engine for another project.
Got it back to the workshop and there it has sat ever since.
I was clearing up in the workshop and needed to move it outside. I dusted it off and went over it.It is a really solid shell.
Opinions please as I am torn whether to sell it on complete, strip the good bits and sell the shell on or make it a track day toy?
Would be ideal for an engine convertion?
Spec:
Freash MG metro engine,
virtually new 13x7 minilites's and tyres.
Hi-lo's
Spax adjustables
Poly bushed
Engineer built steel flip clubman front.
This car is a real bizza
MK1 rear end styling.
Sports pack kit and 13x7 alloys
Clubman steel front
later shell
bucket seats , harnesses,
Custom dash - I have a carbon race dash and full cage to fit to it.
Needs a bit of wireing, lights and front bumper fitting and the carb and exhaust refitting.
All panels, doors etc all good, Localised paint repairs to make perfect.

Could save someone a lot of time and money in the long run and it is Tax exempt !!

If you can afford it, keep it as a track day car . but if you're going to sell it, sell it complete. It's a lush car, i'm soo jealous >.<

It may sell better than you think, i've seen some strong clubby sales lately. Modd'd stuff as well.
If you track it then that destroys the value, doesn't sound like theres a great deal of work and its quite an unusual car.
With a ticket, maybe not fit the cage as that would make it tricky(er) to insure.
£1800-£2000
(obviously thats just walking around money to a man of your stature!!)

I've shifted this to the valuations area.

Thanks Shifty, I always get the wrong area !!
Agreed about the cage. I have all bits to complete this car that I would include for the right offer.
Seems a good way for someone who likes the look of it to save a lot of time and money in the long run.
I have to say that it certainly stands out and look right to me
Usual case of too many projects and not enough time

I was after opinions or trying to save someone else a lot of time.
I have one particular project I am keen to start but that is a long termer and releasing some cash for that would be good.
Am I in danger of getting a non finish reputation !! lol
It was never a planned project but I knew it was too good to break when I collected it !!

Haha
Sell it complete.
If you got rid of the side skirts it would look a lot better.
