Wanted a mk1, 2 or 3 tax exempt. Anything considered. Don't mind a bit of work but not really after a total restoration job.
Would buy a minter if the price was right (less than 5k) Don't mind modified as long as its retro/period looking.
Only looking as i have spend too much time and money on my mk1 to take it out if the weather isn't brilliant(sad but true).
Would consider a road/track day mini for a bit of fun. Must be priced sensibly. Send me some info and i'll tell you if i am interested. Thanks Steve west midlands

Yes i had a look but its not for me although i like the rear light conversion. I prefer roundnose no skirts and 10" wheels proper retro/old school. Good project for someone though Thanks Steve

Just noticed your budget.
Don't come much more retro than this?

Never considered it before but I do need some space.
Car has done 43k from new, Original unwelded floors. rear subframe etc, 100% genuine, tidy condition but not mint.

If you sell the mk3 cooper s then that makes your user name redundant, which then give me free reign to change it something more "appropriate"??
(Not that I'm trying to put you off selling it that is)

Hi Blacktulip, looking again! lol! My mk1 is almost finished and although i started out building a car to thrash about in i have built what has turned out to be a pretty much close to concours car hence looking out for another. I have a build thread on mk1-performance-conversions.co.uk in our cars and projects under mk1-bitsa if you want to take a look. I always have problems posting pics on here.
