Hears a few pictures from the year and a few little updates as I haven't been on here for a while

Got some Cooper spot lamp covers of the bay

Also a genuine Rover 3rd brake light fitted

Just read the whole thread, nice job! I have a question though. Have you modified the front wings or is this how MPi wings are to allow clearance for the front wheels?



I can't tell on the wings I removed from my car, there's not much left of them. My MPi is a lot worse than yours, the rust has gone right through the scuttle, upper dash rail and is running down the bulkhead.

That's correct for an MPI - what's done is standard wings are cut back using a template, then strengthening strips added each side.

Hi thanks for the comments, The guy that did mine just cut the wings back and I dont think he added any strengthening strips

Catch 22 - the wings may buckle as a result, but the wings without the strips wont create a rust trp between to the 2 sheets of metal.
