Apparently Mini Machine (http://www.m-machine.co.uk/) make really good non genuine panels, but we will have to wait and see what others say

You will find the metal on non genuine panels is a lot thinner than genuine ones.
Magnum panels are ok ive used a few of them not perfect by any means but good.
A lot of other cheap parts like leads and flasher units can be utter rubbish! Luck of the draw sometimes.

As far as other parts are concerned Quinton Hazel make good parts, their rear brake cylinders in particular are very good. There are a number of manufacturers that produce rubbish. The only way is to see what other peoples experience is.

I think some of the problems are with the car, not the panel.

Generally, I would say use genuine (Heritage) panels if you can afford them

I am learning the hard way with the non-genuine replacement panels now. I have a non-gen scuttle that doesn't seem to fit and line up with the winsheild wipers.
