is there any way of taking the scuttle off without damaging the other wing?

i have come to a stop now, is there anybody who can help me with giving me a list of what they think needs doing, i live in barwell, leicestershire, if anybody is nearby.

thanks todd

You do really need to take the wing off to do the job properly however how good are you with a welder?? You could carefully drill out all of the spot welds holding the wing on, fit your scuttle then reattach the wing.

You may find though that the scuttle flange is welded to the wing lip where it is shaped around the scuttle so you would have to do some careful cutting to get around this.

pic? it can be done dependant on how bad the scuttle is but it can also be a pain in the backside to do ;)
