Hello,

I get perminent live to the stereo in my '93 Mini, but no ignition live at all, the multimeter reads 0V. Where should I go next after checking the fuses obviously?

Cheers

Need to trace the wire back from the radio. Its more than likely a connection problem rather than a broken wire.

Where does it come out after the stereo? Just because it vanishes into the loom!

It could come out anywhere unless it's the standard one from 1993 - which i would think went to a fuse in the fusebox!

If its a real mess just run a new wire and remove that one :)

Doesn't it connect to somewhere near the ignition wiring. Have a look there, it'll be colour coded so should be able to find it. If all else fails just run a new switched live feed from the fusebox.
