What are the standard wheels for a 1992 carbed mini sprite? My best guess so far is 12x5 with 145/70r12 tyres, and probably steel wheels with plastic covers and alloy wheels of the same size are an optional extra.
Am I right thinking that? the narrowest wheels I've seen seem to be 4.5" and must be the ones that fit flush with the car so they would have to be wider than that to need the 'special' arches that were fitted as standard.

I know my wheels aren't standard and there might be other people that are in my situation where they want to make the car standard again and they aren't 100% sure what should be on. Mine are 5.5" with 165/60r12 and I'm fairly sure they wouldn't fit under special arches if I put them on.

This suggests that they will have been 5" steel wheels. Will they have had 145/70r12 tyres on?
