Here's a couple of pics of my Broadspeed inspired, centre binnacle extension pod.

It took a lot of trial and error and is made from aluminium sheet and fibreglass. It is covered in nice soft black leather and I found some adhesive chrome trim to match the original.

I've ordered a 52mm oil temp gauge.
Do you think another 'pod' for the other side would be overkill?

This is what I got up to with my centre binnacle mrbridger. Maybe something of note or inspiration.

I don't think what I've done is over-kill... I have lost the original plain look for sure but it's surprising how many still believe I've kept an old-school feel.

I thought about extending the binnacle but went for this^. I'm all for symmetry so would recommend doing it the other side... sad thing is, you won't know if it's over-kill until you do it. Maybe take a picture and do a cheeky photoshop to see it on the left as well ;D
