Hi,I could use a little help.
The problem is as the title suggests, 2 of my spark plugs (Plugs 2 and 3) are repeatedly getting sutty and black. However the other two plugs are perfectly clean for its usage. Ive tried swaping the plugs around with no change.
Has any one experienced this or have any idea what may cause this
Any help appreciated
Thanks

You had the car long? Have you had any new plugs put in recently?

Try weakening the mixture slightly; 2/3 (the central cylinders) are always richer than the outer (1/4)

As above, the centre two are always richer. What plugs are you using?

Hi, thanks for the replys,
The spark plugs have been recently changed for NGK BP5ES plugs from minispares which I believe to be the correct plugs for a 998 A series. Also when ive weaken the mixture even a small amount the engine seams to misfire and be down on power underload. At the moment it runs nicely but clogs the middle 2 plugs up in less than a weak so then it starts missfiring again.
And when I say the middle 2are blacker I mean that they are Black with a huge build up of deposits compared the 1 and 4 which look normal if not two weak.
Any ideas?
Thanks
