Hello there,

I've finally had to start thinking about my wiring loom for the mini, it's going to have to be predominantly a custom affair, anyway there's noway I'm tackling it without having a diagram to work off. This got me thinking I wonder if any of you lot know any software for this job?

It need to have symbols used in automotive application as well as being reasonably intuitive.

I guess it would be really good if it could be run as a simulator, that would be epic.

Any thoughts?

I have used the expressPCB software for circuit diagrams, its really aimed at logic pcb layouts but you can make your own symbols up.

Yenka & Picaxe may be worth a google.

That looks quite interesting for testing simple circuits, I will have a test see what the capabilities are.

I would love to acquire something like Mentor Graphics Capital or Vesys
But of course its prohibitively expensive...
