Hi all...

been lurking the bay looking at Minis as I have most nights for the last 6 years and cant help but notice how cheap Minis have gotten again. It seems 400 quid will get you a very good basis for a project... where-as this time a year ago you'd be looking at 800 quid for anything remotely decent (generally) and 400 quid would get you nothing...

What do we all think? Seems Mini projects at least, have reached a nice sensible price once more

Yeah, I've noticed that as well.
Hopefully will stay down in price, when I am ready to get one.

Went to see a Riley Elf from Gumtree last Tuesday too... he wanted 550 for it, needed new floors, boot floor and front end but it was ridiculously cheap. It was a good little runner too. Managed to stop myself though

They defiantly do fluctuate, i have been looking on and off at minis for near enough 3 years or so and they are a bit low at the moment but it may be people regretting spending so much over christmas and needing to free up some cash so selling before the summer for less?

I notice minis are often not really selling. Either reserves are not met or more often, people bid on there own stuff

And even though the prices of minis are going down at the moment, people are still putting them on for stupidly high prices, which is good if your selling as it means you can put a reasonable price up and it will more likely sell!

still rekon its because of the economy, people just cant afford or dont have the time to fix them up. i wish i had the space to buy a couple more for future projects. :( i really want a van, or a clubman or a mixture of both haha
