Just bought a starter push button kit from (dare i say it) demon tweeks *hangs head in shame*

Ill i need to know is, on my 1995 SPI engine, is the solenoid remote to the starter, if so, where is it. Looked in the haynes but have no idea where it is on the car!

you would be better off connectiong it to the ignition barrel, simulating the key being held in the start possition.

I am doing that, but this goes through a relay to hold the start button on until the engine has started.

you you press the button once and it keeps the starter going until it starts?

and if it wont start, will it just keep cranking?

well if it doesnt start you can just turn the ign off with the key
