Hi an welcome
My knowledge isn't brilliant but I'm sure there's lots of common problems, I see this as 1 of the many joys of owning a mini. Problems=Character

Welcome to TMF and enjoy your new car.
All mini's have different problems, that's what makes them what they are. Rust, water leaks, oil leaks, noisy engine ie rattles and so on. If you find you have any problems then post them on here no matter how stupid or silly they may seem and we will do our best to help you out.
Enjoy.
