Hi, Does anyone know where to buy Cooper S style reverse rims. I want the reverse rims for the ofset bu tI can only seem to find cooper s replicas which I like, but I would like them to stick out slightly further.

Also has anyone got any good images of the cooper S rims on a drum braked car.

Thanks

No body makes reverse rims these days, the best place to find them is at a Mini show or on Ebay.

As above, the are not to my knowledge manufactured new, but there are often a set on ebay that need refurbishing.

'Reverse' rims were a BL Special tuning product, made by Dunlop and never factory fitted onto any car. They were intended to give the same track to a drum brake or 7" disc car as the wider 7.5" discs did to the Cooper-S and early 1275GT. Never were the 'reverse' rims Cooper wheels, but they are often advertised as such.
Buy a set, get them blasted and painted and they look great, as perfectly demonstrated in the pictures above :)

To positively I.D a reverse rim, check out the numbers stamped in the centre.

Dunlop LP918 = 4.5x10” (ET16) sold by dealers
C-AHT182 = 4.5x10” (ET16) sold by Leyland ST.
Dunlop LP918 = 5x10” (ET??) are the ultra-rare 5" rims, although I have never owned a set of these wider ones :(

If you have drum brakes or discs smaller than the 8.4" ones, yes.
