Had an idea, lots of people hard up at the minute (me too!) so why not lost here all the improvements that can be made to a mini to make mini life easier, just for those people who want to tinker but run out of funds!

Plus there may be something you've done for free that has made driving better, more fun, easier etc that no one else knows or newbies could do

I'll start with a common one,

Seat adjuster brackets, £5. More leg room!!

Cheaper than Grill Buttons - a couple of long bolts, 1/4 inch diameter , wing nuts and penny size washers. Looks very 60's.
Maybe find the bits in your junk box.

If you use the standard air box... Drill 1/4" holes in the bottom and at the front... voila car now breaths better, sounds better and it's free

I know it's over a tenner but if you've just bought a mini, unless you know what the previous owner put in, it's probably a good idea to get some 20w50 in. It's cheap but at least it's comma, and because of the weight amazon ship it via courier even if you click the free p&p option! :D

it's probably more like £15 once you've bought an oil filter. :shy:
