my uncle had these fitted to his 850 mini back in the late 60's/ early 70's? They are twin H1 SU's and bolt up to a HS2 inlet

Aren't the mounting studs at an angle not 12 - 6 oclock?

Hs 2 carb mounts vertical so will fit 850 manifold.

I haven't thried, but I don't think my uncle woudl have chopped the shell about to fit them (and they aren't any deeper than a stock carb set up).
They would def get people looking at a show with them under your bonnet :)
