Minis just hate rain! solved the distributor problem with fancy electronic ignition. Your driving along the roads like a river its so heavy doing about 40mph feels like the cars going to be pulled off to the side by the water if you go any quicker. Then it seems like modern cars don't feel the water at all and are overtaking me! Mental i just cant understand it! Are all minis weird in the rain ? or is it just a classic car thing?

Do modern cars not feel the puddles and water crossing the road? (cant really remember from my driving lessons)

Sorry for the rant i just cant see why people drive so dangerously in such bad conditions and i am supposed to be a 'boy racer' :| :@

Driving from Exeter to Plymouth today felt like i was going through a hurricane!
There was a line of traffic behind me in the loser lane, and even a few trucks over took me cause i was doing 50mph XD

If i drove any faster i didn't feel safe on the road!

Im not complaining about it being awful though... I know it's awful and thats it.

No point in comparing a Mini to a modern car because it isnt one... of course its going to differ in conditions like rain, its a 53 year old design..

Mine wipers are great, even in a storm they clear the screen! Never bothered the dizzy either, and Im still on points, must just be lucky... But yeah, going through a deep puddle at like 40 is scary, need to be prepared
