Always a good feeling when you are shocked you have 2 mini fans look at your mini

First is my driving instructor who is training me to be a "well a qualified driving instructor lol" and mentioned he is restoring a clubman gt...awsome so looked over mine,

The next door neighbour came out said, well im not suprised, thought you would get another mini "thanks for that" of course he is restoring one aswell....and said take me out in it...sure lets go!

Ha, so not bad day despite weather

I can remember parking up in a car park in gloucester, i came back after about 2 hours of shopping to see a swarm of people looking at the mini. took a good 2 mins to even reach the car  the mini was up for sale at that time and i had loads of phone calls about it.

Its also good when you see people you dont even know and they all say 'you had the mini didnt you'

awesome feeling!!

I've found where I'm from, more hobos and homeless talk to me about my mini more than the average folk.

There was one young homeless guy who came up to me to ask me about my mini, he told me his mom used to have one when he was a kid, so I gave him a ride around the block, it was quite emotional for him, he didn't even ask for change at the end.

(I parked and he came up, I gave him a ride while I left my friends on the sidewalk waiting for me =P I'm terrible)

On the first day I got my Mini it was parked on a road in Coventry where I lived as a student at the time. The passenger door was open and I was lying on the floor trying to get the original Motorola radio to work (11 years later it still doesn't!) I heard a noise and poked my head out to see a drunk staggering past.
"Best car in the world mate." he slurred. 11 years later I still agree!!

The most attention my Mini received was driving the trailer home after collecting it and having the guy who's car received the contents of its boot over the bonnet of his mondeo... aside from it being locked. Wasn't best pleased

>_<

When i take mine out love it when people turn and smile at the car best feeling ever. Had 2 old chaps asking about it on a petrol forecourt once. They looked a bit disappointed though when i said it was only a 92 they were hoping for older lol!
