Right, I've got a dilemna

I want a 3 dial dashboard, walnut and white dial background.

I can get 3 clocks with a white background for £65 and i've seen a dashboard for £40 atm on eBay. Not sure what that will go to though. At the moment, I have only 2 clocks so I'd need the 3 clock surround, not sure how much that would cost.

However, whilst looking Minispares.com, I come across the fact you could only buy white backgrounds for '88 onwards Mini's and I've got a '87 Mini.

so would I have an troubles with switching this over. Also could anyone recommend the route I should take as to changing my dashboard?

Thanks

Jack

I'm new to the whole mini thing. But I've changed my dash to a walnut from the original, however, mine is a '89 model. Fitting the dash is reasonably easy so long as the brackets are the right size for your vehicle. I bought one that the brackets were too long on. So i ended up drilling a new hole under the bulkhead. I'f you are changing from the original dash which is more like a tray along the front, then you need to pull out all the leathery kind of stuff with the doors open because it is wedged behind the seals.

I'm not sure how much that helps but thats what i had to do.
