You need to drive it a little bit and let the suspension settle.

Okay but it being 2 new cones would it not be the same . But I suppose you hardly got anything on the left side of the car apart from a rad

When fitting hi-los you need to be careful how you set all the heights. if the fronts are set the same and the are different heights you need to start looking at the rear.

But before you do this MAKE SURE IT IS SAT ON LEVEL GROUND.

It's very easy to get the heights all wrong and the weight of the car across 2 corners. Say the front near-side is low, then id you lowered the rear off-side you would raise up the front near-side. The probelm is that to do this properly you need corner weight scales.

Did you fit new knuckle joints with the HiLos? Worn knuckles are one of the common causes of one side being low. Or, sometimes one side is high because the new knuckle cup has not seated properly in the arm. That one usually sorts itself out after driving over a few bumps.

Ive not found coilovers that are suitable for a mini yet. Not off the shelf ones designed for a mini anyhow.

The issue is they dont allow the wheels to drop enough, as a result of this it affects traction on corner exit under power.

I tried gaz and protech. Both had the same issue. Span up applying throttle on corner exit. With only 100whp. Onto cones again and it was spot on.

Surely the whole point of Hi-hos is that can set the suspension to the same height each side? Don't just blindly wind them right down and hope for the best! As mentioned earlier - corner weights are important - perhaps a visit to a weighbridge is required to get it spot on. And of course - you need to decide if you are going to set it right WITH the driver on board - or empty......
