Regrettably selling my Mazda mx5 after deciding to finish of my vtec conversion on my classic mini this year!

It is very clean
drives perfectly
runs very sweet

MOT'D April 2012
No TAX
Mileage 118625

Will fly Through its next MOT and the one after that for that matter!

comes with plenty of history!

there are a couple of bits that might need addressing
The rear window has a slit and is cloudy but this is a cheap and easy repair but still usable! and doesnt seem to let rain in.
the rear bumper will need lacquering as i didn't get around to it
the front nose cone will need a good Tcut as it has lost its shine again something i didn't get around to
there is also a dent on the drivers wing and rust in the far corner

Now the good bits
lowered on Race land Mk2 Coil overs which can still go be wound down another 1" 1/2 and are still under warranty!
Mk2 Suspension Top mounts all round
Grooved, drilled and Vented disc's on the front
Grooved and drilled disc's on the back
Yellow Stuff Pads all round (Discs and pads where only fitted 1 month ago and since then i have driven the car for 20 minutes to test them out so still need to bed in!)
Suede interior door cards with Red Strap
Walnut inserts on dashboard and Centre console
full topspeed exhaust Cat back!
Mx5 Parts Decat
Mims Alloys
Red Rsp Tow Strap (not fitted)
relocated square number plate (removed for photos)
Debadged front and rear
Brand New Battery
Fully Under sealed
Mk2 Rear Subframe
De Charcoal Canister
14Degree Mod
Smoothed Rear Bumper
Chrome engine bay brace bar
tonneau cover (LIKE NEW)
Very good condition spare wheel with cover
Original jack and handle in boot

1997 UK model and as you can see by the photos it is very clean and drives very well all gears are perfect

Sadly i need money to complete my vtec conversion on a different car so it has to go,

Comes WITH LOADS of history will upload a photo of it all!

Ready to drive home once you get insurance and tax and is ready to enjoy for the summer!

cheapest to insure of all the mx5's as it is a 1.6 with 90bhp (little more now with the decat and exhaust)
also cheapest on tax. and most economical and being a mk1 and black it is the best

i am after £1700 cash or cheque,

if you are interested and you live far away please Google Shipley and get a quote for them to collect if you are interested
Viewing is more then welcome,

no test pilots unless you have the full amount of the car in cash!

sorry to be off topic, but the reason why I didn't buy an MX5 was that I could not justify having 2 "fun" cars in my house (a mini AND an MX5).

Glad you could justify having 2 indulgences !

Oh and good look with the sale !

thanks mate, to be honest the mini is currently not in a state to use. and has sat in the garage now for about 2 years lol

the mx5 is a fun everyday car, handles well and i could justify keeping it for another year but it would be a shame that it would not be used as often as i could use it

I love it, very nice looking MX. Is it a 1.6 or 1.8? If I could sell the Viva as it is now, I'd probably have that. GLWS
