Anyone got any good pics of dashboards with only the one centre dial?

My 1977 mini looks very bare with the big ben in the middle :-)

That a rare question lol I don't think I've ever seen one. That's a more retro look just to have the center speedo.
I would also like to see a dash made up for jast one clock. Many have temp and oil pres. I guess your running a small lump?

Early minis or low spec. minis had just the centre dial. There was enough information to warn you of impending disater. Ignition, oil warning, fuel & speed. But exact oil pressure reading was never a problem then. Ignorance was bliss.

I know this isn't just the centre speedo but gives an idea of another dash thats out there. My 1977 leyland mini came with the centre binnacle including oil and temp gauges so is strange how yours only has the centre clock.

Analogue the clock on the table in your pic is what i have...think i might invest in the oil n temp guage with centre cover!

Are they hard to wire in?

Also that 77 leyland is very nice!!

Mines also 77 layland :)

My 1982 mini city had only the 1 centre dial, always looked very empty but very retro. It was because it was a basic model so didn't get anything posh like an oil pressure gauge or temperature gauge.

My 1996 Sprite came with a walnut dash with 3 clocks infront of me, I missed the Centre speedo so much I took it all out and replaced it with the Centre setup and had a parcel shelf in the front again, much nicer :D

I've only got this very poor pick of Pootles old dash set up

I liked the simpleness of the dash (although ity did have some extra gauges added infront of the steering wheel when I started to do sprints in him :) )

This is the centre binnacle dash and its variants, as supplied by Custom Consoles. http://www.custom-co...dashboards.html

Personally I prefer the simplicity of the classic centre binnacle, on an empty parcel shelf though.
