Very nice photo! A question, is it illegal to not have wing mirrors? Because those 3 don't have any.

Very nice photo! A question, is it illegal to not have wing mirrors? Because those 3 don't have any.
yes it is but you can get away with only having a drivers side wing mirror on older cars that where before the time the 2 mirror law came in :) lol....
very very nice pic this will be in my living room when i get my own place

You didn't legally need any wing mirrors back then. The photo is of the Monte-winning Minis from 1964, '65 and the disqualified winning car from '66.

I believe it was taken at Abingdon early in 1966 in the pre-dispatch car park of the MG Car Co.
Paddy's 196-winning 1071 'S' is on the left, Timo Makinen's '65 winner is centre and the 1966 'winner', disqualified for having illegal lights and driven again by Timo is on the right.
Don't those fantastic little cars look great.
