my name is wayne. i have been in the motor trade for 20 yrs mainly in the body work part of the motor trade i have spent the last ten years restoring old fords mainly capris. but the time as come for a change and the price of ford panels and parts as just gone through the roof. so here i am with minis. i have just bought a 1979 clubman which i intend to restore to it former glory. i will be posting pics in the not too distant future of my progress hope you all like what i am about to do here i a picture of my last car please forgive me it not a mini and all i will say is it will not happen again this is just a taster of the things i do and i promise i will not happen again minis only from now on all the best wayne

welcome to TMF !!! i had 2 Capris myself a few years ago. 1.6 lazer and a 2.0 lazer that i did loads of work too brilliant cars. they felt like tanks too. big thick solid cars. my mates always wonder how i went from a mini to a capri then back to a mini.
