Is it worth it?

I just want to know what sort of benefits you get out of it... what sort of sites do you get a discount on etc.. I'm new to the forum so not sure if I will use it much, it's only a fiver but just want to get peoples opinions :)

The Minispares discount has paid for my membership multiple times over :)

Given you already have tmf+, you can go and look in the sub forum at the list of suppliers who offer discount.

As in my other post on here this morning, I don't need the membership numbers to set the discount up. You only need follow the instructions on the TMF+ side of the site

I signed up as a paid member to support the forum as it has to be paid for somehow and the discount at minispares is an added bonus!

Yes it's worth it, the saving you can make on your annual insurance premium alone pays for your £5 membership fee many times over. Also I usually get at least my TMF+ membership fee back with my 7.5% discount I get, when ever I make a reasonably sized order with minispares.

But financial gains aside, you cannot put a value on the free help and advice that you get from other members here on TMF. Help and advice that will save you untold time and expense over the years. Contributing just £5 per year toward the running of the site that makes all that possible, really is a very very small price to pay in my opinion.

List of TMF+ discounts:

Minispares 7.5% discount
Sureterm insurance 15% discount
Mini magazine 36% off annual subscription
Moss Europe 10% discount
Adrain Flux Insurance 15% discount
K.A.D 5% discount
M-Machine (various discounts)
Minifilms 10% discount
A- Series spares 10% discounts
Optomise Automotive 10% discount

Footman James insurance also give a discount with membership to any Mini club that supplies a membership number (TMF+ membership number qualifies for this)
