I have been looking at the half leather seats used in the mini coopers in the 1990's (black and red)
I believe there are two different types (possibly one replaced the other)
Anyway, which are more comfortable and how much would i be looking at paying for a good set (front and back seats)??

Which Seats Are More Comfortable?

My Old man has the Cooper seats from a late 90's (Black sides, which the cream centres) I know they are comfortable as I have a habbit of falling asleep on the way home from a show.
I'll find the link to his car
found it

My Dad paid about £150 not including door cards tho (front and back seats only)
But you may pay more for them now

In 1990 Minis had single post headrest seats, which were replaced later in the 1990s by double post headrest seats. The later double post ones are the most comfortable, so that is what you want.
I got a set of these later seats in half leather (black/red) from a Mini Cooper 3 years ago, they cost me £170. However I recently saw a set go on e bay for £400. I don't know if that's what they are really worth these days, or if it was just a couple of bidders getting carried away and paying far too much.

I had some later Rio seats in my mini when i bought it, they were very comfy until the seat base broke on me. I find the earlier seats terrible to be honest. Especially in vinyl/leatherette stuff in the cold weather. I replaced my seats with cobra clubman seats when the Rio's broke, money well spent if that's your thing.

I have the black and red later ones with bolster support. Very comfortable and cost me 40 quid each I think from someone on here. Cheers Roofless, best £80 spent! That was 3 years ago though.
The later MPi interiors go for a lot of money. They do look good but I prefer my current interior.
