I have a Metro 1275 in my mini running a carb, just wondering what oil is best to use as I'm not sure when it was last changed

Good point!! ...The OP does have a carb model after all and they did ask "which oil?" & not "which engine oil?"!!
... & to be fair "3 in one" is probably one of the best options for carb "dashpot oil"

20/50w is what I suggested in my initial reply above and probably what most of us actually do. But this is probably the most commonly debated issue here on TMF and there are a number of different views on the matter, no doubt someone will be along shortly to offer the opposing view.
.... oh and you want 20/50w mineral oil
