Everyone forgets the business in the middle....the company who delievers the items?
Minisport may send there stuff out straight away
And it might be the courier they use faults for there delays.
DHL and parcel force have always been terrible around my area

Had bother with one of the tyres so they couriered it back, fixed it and got it back to me with very little hassle so fair play to them.

yup bought some rocker cover washers in red. £4.50 for postage
I'll think about going pro when they play fair with their postage charges but until then its minispares all the way!!! £4.50 delivery for some washers? what the hell is that all about??
It's not just about the postage though & the amount of stamps put on an envelope is it. Businesses have to take into account the entire cost of taking and processing an order. The majority of those costs are fixed, so the idea that a small order should be virtually free doesn't stand up. I'll hazzard a guess that in some cases, a small, low value order might actually cost them money to fulfil.
My company will ship far more consignments (100's more) in a day than Minisport ever will, so we have the economies of scale. Even so, it still costs us well in excess of £10 to process an order. (by the way, if an order is below £50, I charge a £10 handling fee to cover the cost)
If companies are letting people down because they are making promises they don't keep then perhaps they deserve to loose business, but please don't berate a company simply because thay are covering their cost of providing a service.
If I'm not mistaken, Minisport show the actual carriage charge on their site when you place an order, (which puggered, minipsares don't, they give you an estimate). As a consumer, you then have the option to either accept, or refuse and buy elsewhere. You can't accept the charges as shown, and complain afterwards when you had the choice to walk away.
I too hope that minisport have taken on board comments about their delivery times, they're a good bunch of very knowledgable guys and it's good to see them getting some positive comments for a change.
Regards
Steve
