I was driving along in Gerald (my 94' 35Le) last night, just cruising in 3rd gear.
The throttle felt quite vague and I would push it to the floor and there would be a few seconds of lag until the engine would push on. it would then proceed to be very sluggish and start spluttering. I had to put the choke on the 1st notch so he would run more smoothly.
Has anyone had this problem before... I have asked a few mechanical friends of mine and they all told me different solutions to the problem. some said it could be Timing, Tuning, The needle in the carb (I have a 1.75 SU) and the throttle cable and spring... Etc
Any help would be much appreciated.
