Plenty of times things come up for sale but I'm hesitant as I don't recognise the user or such, especially as it's not like eBay where you can just dispute the case and get your money back...

eBay
1. Agree to purchase item for seller (item is automatically marked as sold and thus a transaction between seller and winning bidder is opened).
2. Pay with PayPal (action confirmed by eBay).
3. Receive item.
4. Leave feedback using proof of transaction.
5. Transaction closed.
TMF
1. Seller lists item.
2. Various people make offers or negotiate via PM.
3. Seller chooses what deal to go with.
4. Payment made by whatever means (PayPal, cheque, bank transfer, etc.).
5. Receive item.
Basically, TMF is completely out of the loop after step 1. We have no idea who a seller decides to deal with so have no means of confirming whether a given piece of feedback is legitimate or not. We just don't have the control over it like eBay does so it's not really viable sadly.

Sorry to high jack the thread but its to do with classifieds and didnt want to clog up the forum
Would it be possible with the for sale sections we have a sub title section for Projects or restorations etc to take them away from the main mini, clubman, pickup and van sub titles as many of the titles arent much of a give away and waste your time searching through floods of projects just to find a few decent minis which is unfair to the owners as there threads get pushed back pages for these projects.

Really not worth a sub section for the amount of people that advertise projects and whole cars.

I've just had a look, the first 5 threads I clicked on were for complete cars. In addition to that there is only 30 threads in total in the roundnose section.
Really not worth a sub section for the amount of people that advertise projects and whole cars.
That's not the point, you could argue that sub section "Other" is pretty pointless seeming as it has only 2 cars for sale in it..Oh wait ones sold...that makes it one
I just think it would be more user friendly.
