After weeks of planning to put my sportspack wheels on ive decided that i should fit kad steering rack limiters (as i think the wheels may rub against the inner arch) but im not really sure how to fit so i would be greatful if someone could put a step by step and preferably picture by picture list on how to do it......
thanks

I can't do the pics, but can do a description.

get the car up nice and high so you can get under ther to work easily, cut off the zip ties on the inner end of the steering rack boots, pull the rack boots off the rack catching any lube that comes out in a container, push the Kad limiters over the rack slide to the outer end and secure with the ziptie thet comes oith them. slide the rack boots back and resecure with zipties.

thats it really... the spacers are fairly hard nylon, I have head of people putting them in hot water to soften them a bit to make the easier to get on but I didnt need to. also I found the zipties that came with the limiters a bit weak and iirc I brok one of mine so it would be an idea to have an assortment of zipties handy.

Also, have a search for members like "Mike." and "Kam". I pretty sure they had a long topic about the KAD limiters not too long ago.....

Yeah Kam has a guide in the FAQ section with pics.

My topics for these limiters are negative really, the limiters didn't fit my rack as there was not enough room for the limiter and a cable tie to fit inside the inner rack whilst steering. If you find my topic you'll see some picture of the problems I had.

KAD reckons this is a one off problem and haven't seen these problems before, although they did admit they could see the problem that was caused by the size of the limiter and sent me another set for free as I damaged one set trying to get them to work.

Also about putting them in hot water, I don't think this is the best way of doing it as mine distorted and wouldn't close up fully once in place. KAD say they use a heat gun and heat them, flex them open and allow them to cool multiple times. Apparently they then go supple and easy to open by hand.
