How Do I Fit A Submerged Fuel Pump For Westy's Micra Mini

hi i am building a micra mini http://www.theminifo...__fromsearch__1
have a quick look if you have the time.
i have a submerged fuel pump and i am wondering what would be the best way to secure it to the bottom on the tank and where abouts in the tank i should put it.
any help appreciated

why not use the fuel tank from a fuel injected mini ?

injection tank would be the easiest or cut the flange of the micra pump and weld it to onto the mini tank, heres one i did for the vtec

Welding used petrol tanks is really dangerous even when they are empty. Purgeing them with argon helps but its still dodgy

Yeah I agree, the above tank had been empty for about 5 years in the attic, it was washed out and purged before any cutting/welding commenced
