I need some new shocks for my 72 mini, I have been told that KYB shocks are the best all rounder and good value for money. I don't want to spend a stupid amount so they fit the bill. Any thoughts on these ?????

Excellent quality, excellent damping for normal road use and long lasting.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread, but has any of you had experience with GMAX shocks? Was thinking about either the KYBs as well or GMAX

http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1423.l2649 this set seems pretty decent!

I bought the genuine HiLo and KYB Gas-a-just kit from Minispares last year. It's came at a brilliant price, not much more than standard Boge oil dampers, and I'm really happy with the kit. I use it on my daily drive, and it gives a really good ride. I bought new cones at the same time, and it really transformed the car.

agreed used KYB Gas-a-just for many years and found them more than adequate for road use, including spirited driving :proud:
