I need to remove both my bumpers and later put them back (after cleaning) ive looked underneath and there seems to be a few screws and bolts that attach them. Unfortunately in trying to unscrew the first nut it snapped off because they were too rusty. Should i just break them all off? Are these the right nuts or the ones that are covered by the bumper which in fact hold the main body together? How can i reattach the bumper after the screw parts are all broken, as it seems that they are welded on and not screwed through... so i couldn't buy new screws to fit...? What should i do?
Also i have bought these pedals: Click!
I removed the rubber over the cluth and break pedal to fit the two smaller pedals but the screws are about 1mm not far apart enough to fit round the metal/plastic under pedal without being deflected apart so that the ends are too far apart for the metal bar behind to attach... and the accelerator pedal is a larger metal one already that wouldn't fit underneath the new chrome pedal...??? How can i get around these problems or are the pedals the wrong model, i was told they should fit!
I have a '98 Cooper S. Thanks!

the nuts broke off on my bumpers too. just snap them all off and drill a hole where they were. then put a bolt through. its a fiddle to do up though but it gets the job done!!

Have you got the clutch and brake peddles covers on the wrong peddles ?
they wont fit if they are on the wrong one
