While my cooling system was in bits and both the heater and choke cables needed changing
I decided to take out my heater, paint it and when everything was done put back
But I now have one small prob

As I have taken a few pics, labelled all the wires and hoses but due to water still being in the heater
Can’t figure which hose goes from were as the labels got wet
And can’t make out which is which from the photos I took

So
Where does the hose from the heater tap go?

I have attached a pic of the heater so if someone could copy it, add labels and re post, they can

Thanks,

One from the heater tap should feed the top connector on the heater...

Although it doesn't make that much difference really...

To make it work best, the hot water should enter the matrix by the connection furthest from the fan so that the heated air doesn't then have to travel through a cooler part of the matrix before it leaves the heater. So the water should be leaving the matrix closer to the fan than it enters, so the closest connection to the back of the unit connects to the bottom hose and the furthest to the heater valve. So the cold air then travels through slightly cooler matrix fins first, pre-heating the air before it travels through the hottest matrix fins.
