A few questions....

Does the minisport Delux trim fit a LWB mini?

Is the genuine one any better than the non-gen?

My tres sometimes touch my arch, will the chrome rub off and result in the trim going rusty?

Will it suit my car???????

They are generally made to the commercials, so on a saloon you'd have slightly too much. As long as the Genuine they offer is as per original, they come in quite a large loop, so require less straightemening to fit, and therefor is easier. The profile is better also.
On the non genuine, they can be supplied in very tight coils, making them much harder to fit.

is it a hard type plastic? or will the first time my tyre touches it, rub away?

It's a hard plastic, as it's quite tricky to fit. It's recommended to do it on a warm day and to heat the trim up in a bucket of hot water before fitting it.
