They were only available for a couple of years in the early 60s.
One recently sold on Ebay for over £300.
What interior does your car have?

The Super de Luxe had a Cooper-type interior with 3-dial centre binnacle, but it still had the wand-type gear change. It had the chrome trim over the doors, black leather-cloth covered top screen rail and A-posts, bumper corner bars, etc. However, it had the single leading-shoe drum brakes on the front.

There must be very few of those cars left now, hence valuable in original condition.

Like the Coopers some colour schemes didn't have brocade. I think the grey ones had Cummulus/dove grey interiors
Just saw this on Ebay by coincidence

The door cards are plain . I think the originals are gone .Will be getting the interior retrimmed just don't know what the correct trim should be ? There's no vinyl on the pillars or top dash rail (removed and painted with hammerite by the previous owner)Are the door cards gold brocade or plain? It should be gold brocade with two tone seats. Are the top dash rail and A pillars covered in black vinyl?

I don't know about the trim panels. Maybe Newton Commercial would know.
It will be a great little car when it's all done correctly. I wonder how many of those 1962 Super de Luxe cars are left.

Thanks , will be returning it to as original condition as possible . Would a Heritage certificate give me all the info i need ?You can buy black leathercloth and it's really not difficult to fit.
