Hello, am trying to convert my standard rocker hazard switch to a push button type, I have the button but the wiring diagram for the new switch only has one flasher unit and the mini has 2, any ideas as to which pins should go to which wire? Pic attached :)

Thanks for leaving off the important bit of the photo!

The other side of the page appears to show the pinout of the switch, if you show us that someone will be able to work out how it actually works.

Sorry I failed at uploading lol, that's the only diagram/pinout for that switch unfortunately.

Ok, sorry I thought the half a wiring diagram visible up there was from the same switch!

The numbers on those pins are standard, to the DIN system. So wiring it isn't too hard, but I'm not sure how the lamp in the switch is going to affect this because I don't know how it's earthed. Could you do a quick test to make sure how it's wired? In theory with it off, 15 should connect to 49, and nothing else is connected. With it on, 30 should connect to 30b by themselves, and 49a will be connected to L and R separately from the other two. The lamp must take a floating earth. Just check it over to see.

I'm not sure how that's going to work with the mini wiring as the indicator lamps are connected to the hazard switch and then the power for the lamps is fed from either the hazard flasher or from the indicator flasher via the column switch depending upon the position of the hazard switch.

If it works like I said above then I can tell you how to fit it, if it's different then we might have to re-think. Oh and test that when it's switched on, +12v to 30 or 30b and ground to 49 or L or R lights the lamp up.

Thanks Dan, I thought you'd be one who'd reply :)

Ok with the switch off 15 and 49 are connected as you say.

With it on 30b is shared with 30, 49a, L and R, the same goes for 30. 49a is also shared with 30b, 30, L and R although that's kinda obvious now lol.

Noticed Dan hasn't been online for a while :( I wired this up as per his instructions and my Hazards are now working however the switch itslef doesn't flash or illuminate, I have it wired like so:

The two light green/brown cables to 15 and 49, either way around.

The light green/pink to 30.

Green/white to L.

Green/red to R.

Green/light green is for the lamp in the switch and no lnger needed.

Connect 30b directly to 49a.

Any ideas? Guessing maybe I need to use the green/light green to power the switch bulb...
