id be tempted to run it as is for a little while, will turn a lot of heads! ;)

Yep I would be tempted to run it as is too.

If you start it will turn into a full resto.
Good passenger door, bonnet and scuttle but the rest will need attension before painting.
Looks like someone has taken their size 9's to it?
Appears that it was a magic wand gearbox once, has the engine been changed too?
What is the floor/sills and subframe like?

I've got a reasonable powder blue mk2 interior if you want to go for the std/retro mod look?
I would be tempted to paint the door rattle can the panel repairs add some oew reverse rims and run it as a mk2 cooper lookalike in used retro condition?

looks pretty original, it even has the original number plates on and not the black and white ones everyone seems to put on Mini's these days.
