Im currently in the early stages of my first ever mini and it has a slight few spots of rust, dents n scratches the usual for a 14 year old daily driver, really just wanted a few opinions:- respray or just get the rust n dents sorted with a good polishas paint is in generally good nick n i the colours quite nice IMO

Its having some more brightwork but im thinking of fitting some of the grp 2 arches with a chrome trim

Thanx all

Here he is ;D

by the way Its my car asking in the topic title haha :ermm: ^_^

From the pics you paint don't look to bad, well better than mine is

What you can do is sort all the rust and dents sorted
then get thoses areas resprayed and blended in
then finaly give the whole car a good polish

just remember that if you get "blow ins" done that the new paint will age at a differant rate to the rest of the car , great if you sell the car fast , not so good if you intend keeping it , for the extra cost a complete job will allways be worth it

any bodyshop worth thier salt will match the paint but remember your paint is old and will be faded so the new paint will not look exactly as your old paint .
the price will vary , i have seen nice jobs done for as little as £600
on the other hand i have seen poor jobs (rushed prep work) and they charged £2000
all resprays look good when you pich it up , a few months later the bad bits show
i would only go to a place on personal recomendations

My mate had a mini that colour, and yes it was called nordic blue.

If you say where about you live, i'm sure someone will be able to recommend somewhere local to you.

A few of the people on this site have used Mini Mine in stoke on trent i think
Minimine

ANYONE ?????? I think if you have a search you might be able to find the cars....i think they were in the project section.
I saw a couple of the cars at bingley and they looked fab.

Another place that might be able to help you would be Dereks mini centre in Willenhall, I never had any spray work done there, but all his cars look great.

Answer to title "Should I be resprayed?"

Absolutely bleech winter white is deffinately not your colour - but i recomend you try a tanning spa rather than a garage :D
